DEF LEPPARD Drummer To Visit Lowe's Motor Speedway

September 26, 2007

DEF LEPPARD drummer Rick Allen will attend the Bank of America 500 at Lowe's Motor Speedway in Concord, North Carolina on October 13, 2007. Rick will meet fans, corporate guests and some of NASCAR's greatest drivers in the industry to share with them his vision for the Raven Drum Foundation.

It is the mission of Raven Drum to develop others through instruction in helping people that have to live with trauma every day through the healing arts. Allen stated, "the first rhythm you ever heard was your mother's heartbeat that rhythm is in all of us-it is the rhythm of love. Raven Drum empower individuals in crisis in the community using the power of the drum and the healing arts. The importance of NASCAR is its strong affiliation with and the support of the United States Armed Forces".

Rick wants to bring a message of encouragement and hope to the men and women that serve this great nation here and around the world.

The Raven Drum Foundation was pioneered by Rick Allen and his wife Lauren in Malibu, California.
